Calico House is a new short stay respite care service, set up to provide short respite holidays to caregivers and disabled individuals.
The 5 bedroom luxury house, nestled at the foot of the Campsie hill, caters for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs. A respite stay at Calico House is more than just time out for the individuals and their carers. It’s a short break in our luxurious care service with beautifully appointed bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and mature gardens.
Your stay begins with an individualised care plan, established in conjunction with the client and the family. Our dedicated, highly trained staff will assist you in finding a harmonious balance of complex care, whilst enhancing your independence. Our guests are welcomed into Calico House and encouraged to participate in our daily program of activities and community, building their confidence and empowering their sense of self.
